I can remember the feeling I had the first time a lightbox window came to my eyes… Not to mention the excitation about all the unobtrusive ways to display - and serve media to your audience - that directly came from this little script.

The latest - and most complete - daughter of lightbox I’ve met made me just happier. I just grabbed these two things about this script :

“Shadowbox supports all of the most popular web media formats including images, QuickTime, Windows Media Player, Flash, Flash video, HTML, and even external web pages. This makes it easy to display your content without converting it to some other format.
Shadowbox supports a host of options that make it highly configurable. If you don’t like the way something works, chances are very good that you can change it without digging through the code.”

It just simply wipes the other lightboxes out…
